Kevin McPartland is currently the head of market structure & technology research for Coalition Greenwich. Kevin has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years focused on market structure, regulation and financial technology.

Prior to joining Coalition Greenwich, Kevin worked at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, focused on market structure, derivatives regulation and electronic trading.  Before his stint on the buy side, he was the Director of Fixed Income Research at TABB Group, having founded the practice.  The first ten years of his career were spent working at the largest global banks including JPMorgan, UBS, RBC and Deutsche Bank, both as an employee and consultant.

He routinely presents at a wide range of industry conferences focused on fixed-income market structure and the evolving world of FinTech.  He provides input to global regulators, having testified in front of the Senate Banking Committee on Swap Execution Facilities, spoken publicly in front of the CFTC, and presented to the SEC’s fixed income market structure advisory committee.

Frequently quoted in the media, Kevin has appeared in written, TV and audio content from Bloomberg News, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, the Economist and NPR among others.
